Blessed….

This blog, originally an email, was something I wrote this yesterday after a relaxing and refreshing weekend.

I was unsure if I was going to post it; but after sharing it with the people it was intended for, we decided that I should.

My hope is that everyone has the opportunity in life to experience…….

“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is by this meeting that a new world is born.”

The peaceful special-needs teacher.  The businesswoman with a heart of gold. The dedicated soul. The spirited fitness instructor.  The witty graphic designer.  The affectionate entrepreneur.  The compassionate wellness mentor.

Each one of these people, so different; yet their energies are one. Their hearts bonded. When one hurts, the others ache. When one laughs, it is contagious. When one cries, the tears are shared.

These are my soul mates. My girlfriends. My ya-yas.

These women know me inside and out, love me despite my faults and always have my back. It is  indescribable to know that no matter what, I have a female force that will lift me up and carry me, if that is what I need.  The above terms are limited; telling only a minute fraction of what richness and inspiration these women bring into my life.  I am full of life when I am surrounded by them. Each one……

Strong. Loving.  Funny.  Loyal.  Non-judgmental.  Peaceful.  Silly.  Consistent. Insightful. Truthful. Authentic. Enthusiastic. Supportive. Positive.Reasonable. Accepting. Whole-hearted.

A true friend defends and restores.  I am blessed.
