Cauliflower Pizza Crust
1 medium head of cauliflower, riced
1 organic egg
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Sea & pepper
Place cauliflower in a food processor until it is very fine with no chunks left (similar to couscous).
In a large bowl, heat cauliflower in the microwave for 8 minutes and set aside to let cool.
Place in paper towels or cheesecloth to remove all excess water.
Once cooled completely, add egg, cheese, and seasonings and mix thoroughly.
Form into a ball and place on parchment paper lined pizza pan.
Press out gently into the pizza round. Place in 450-degree oven for 30 minutes.
Top with your favorite toppings and place back in the oven for an additional 7-10 minutes.
TIP: This recipe can be used to make cauliflower “bread-sticks” as a deliciously healthy appetizer too!
