Mom
Being a mother is the most challenging, most underpaid and most rewarding job in the world. It challenges us, teaches us and motivates us on a daily basis. It is the only job that we care enough about that it can scare us to death, test our patience, make us laugh, bring us to tears, and make us so incredibly proud – possibly all within a matter of hours.
One of my favorite quotes is this,
“To have a child is to decide forever to have your heart walking around outside your body.”
~ Elizabeth Stone This speaks such truth.
I am blessed to have a mom who always has my back. She does not judge; simply lends a shoulder to cry on or a supportive ear when it is needed – while still trying to teach me a lesson 🙂 and I suppose that will always be the case. We laugh together, share the same interests (for the most part) and enjoy each other’s company. We both love to be active, cook fresh foods, and read good books. We love nothing more than spending time with our family and enjoying a good glass of wine and hours of laughter. 
Mom, I love you more than you know and am so thankful for your steadfast support and encouragement. My only wish is that next year we can be together to celebrate this day.
