YES! Chocolate & PB for Breakfast

Here it is! Chocolate protein pancakes w/ peanut butter sauce 🙂IMG_6463

2 eggs
1 ripe banana
1/4 cup oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used Garden of Life Raw Organic Vanilla)
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of sea salt
1 tbsp coconut oil

Mix all ingredients together in a food processor or blender.
In cast iron skillet, add coconut oil and cook pancakes.
Top with blueberries or strawberries and PB2 sauce.
*If you like some extra sweetness, add 1 tbsp of local honey to the mix.*

For the sauce:
Slowly mix 1/4 cup PB2 with water until you reach desired consistency.

I also mentioned on Facebook this week that I drizzled some dark chocolate balsamic vinegar on my pancakes – can you tell I LOVE chocolate?? 😉
