Roasted Brussels Sprouts
1 bag of fresh Brussels sprouts
Sea salt & pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes **optional**
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
4 tbsp olive or avocado oil
Preheat oven to 400.
Wash sprouts. Cut off ends and cut in 1/2.
Place in a medium-sized bowl. Add seasonings, cheese, and oil.
Mix so they are thoroughly covered.
Spread onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, stir, and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
**If you like them extra crispy, turn the oven on broil for about 2-3 minutes. Watch carefully so they do not burn.**
